Champiooons! Well, not really.... :(
Whenever I heard the Champions League tune or whatever my heart starts beating faster and my adrenaline starts flowing because I just love it so much. All three teams I support are still in and normally this is a good thing, but right now it's just painful. It's time like these that I understand why so many sports fans drink. Here is my slightly pathetic CL recap from what I can remember after trying hard to forget and move on.
On Tuesday Arsenal beat Roma 1-0 which was a good result especially that I am a born again Arsenal fan so yay. However, Inter couldn't manage to defeat Manchester United. Now don't get me wrong, I really dislike Inter, I might even go as far as to say I loathe them, but whenever anyone is up against ManU I have to cheer them on to success. The draw was a mediocre result at best but at least Grody SAF didn't manage to get that ever so precious away goal.
Wednesday was a complete fail! ESPN decided to broadcast the Chelsea/Juventus game and I managed to get a stream of the Real Madrid/Liverpool match. I witnessed both of my teams lose 1-0 and this was too much. I'll start with my thoughts on the Chelsea/Juventus game-
It could have been worse. The next leg is a home game for Juve so they have a strong chance to win at the San Siro. Also, Trezeguet is back and he managed to play for a few minutes and I expect him to be even better for the return leg. Despite this, it should have been better. Juventus didn't manage to get the away goal which could utimately decide this draw. On the positive, Buffon was once again wearing his plum purple ensamble- I love it!
I don't even know where to begin with the Real Madrid/Liverpool game except to say that this was a complete disaster on RM's part. Canna got carded for the first time in like forever. I wasn't really upset, but I was annoyed, but mostly in part to the fact that he didn't even try to flirt his way out of it. Also, really Canna, shirt pulling? You are above that. Raul played really well, but where was everyone else. Heinze was such a massive fail I can't even begin to describe the ways he messed up. Also, congrats to the scouse side. Pepe Reina played the game and in my opinion was clearly the man of the match, if not for him I think RM would have won.
This is just so disheartening because RM had been on such a good winning streak and everything was in their favor. Also, on a more selfish side, this may possibly be Canna's last year and Real Madrid and I would just love for them to win the Champions League because it is his last feat to concur. He is truely a world class player and will go down as one of the greats and he really deserves it.
Anyways, in times of hardship, I try to match up songs with how I feel. The song for this post would be either The Beatles- "Let It Be", or "Yesterday". Take your pic.

Jugador de la Semana
I am late on this due to various reasoning, none of which should have made me late on this post, but here it goes.
-Jugador De La Semana= J. Plasil of Osasuna. He scored a goal and was really good. So yay him.
-WTF Canna? He won two tackles, but got a pass intercepted which I guess translates to 0 puntos. His goal is long due and I feel it coming....
-Another great performance from Rossi, but to be honest, I am glad that he is not my Jugador this week because of his faking accent ways.
-Titi-WTF? Although if I'm completely honest, other than FF, it makes me happy to see Barca not do well.
-Nice job Camunas with that goal.

This is by far one of the coolest things I have come across lately. This is a video made by Reza Dolatabadi as his graduate film in college. It is 5 minutes long and consists 6,000 individual paintings shown at the rate of 20 paintings a second and took 2 years to complete!

Blink 182 is coming back?...
Oh my God?! What is going on. The last I knew, Blink-182 had completely split up forever and yet on their official site is an email list and a picture with the words "Summer 2009". What does that mean? Have they reunited or is this going to be something different. I really need to know. Hopefully Tom finally realized how much Angels and Airwaves sucked and the first option is true, but apparently I will not know anything until the summer.

An Arsenal post.... Finally!
I have recently relapsed into becoming a mediocre (at best) NBA fan. This always happens to me. I get all into it at first and then I just slowly forget to watch games and eventually end up at this point where I have no idea what is going on at all. To make myself feel like less of a sports failure, I have come up with a much better and easier plan-
I am going to actually try and become interested in the EPL and by that, I don't mean actually watching some EPL games. With all the Serie A action and La Liga games I try to take in each week, I simply wouldn't have the time. Thus, I decided I will at least try to catch the Arsenal games. Arsenal being the team I support (as much as one can support a team in a league they have little interest in) but I am going to change that starting now. Sarah and Chocolate Bear can hopefully keep me up to date and interested. Starting now, I am a full fledged Arsenal fan. I don't know if that is good or bad, but we shall see.
My first part in my plan of action is to make this my desktop wallpaper. I'll take it from there.

Raul, you legend!
I meant to do this post yesterday, no matter.
Well, Raul is already a legend in his way (Raul Madrid anyone?), but he decided that wasn't nearly good enough for him and he decided to put his name in the record books once more. He started the game tied for most goals with Alfredo di Stefano and after Real madrids 4-0 win over Sporting he finished with the record for all time leading scorer in the RM jersey. He finished with the amazingly large number of 308 goals! This man is just awesome in every way. So here is to you Raul, making madridistas around the world proud!
That picture is super high quality so if you click on it, it gets like a million times bigger so you can enjoy the man like he is supposed to be- high quality!

This week it is Guiseppe Rossi. The Italian American does it again! Also, I'm still in first- Thank you Guiseppe and King Titi!
Okay, I don't know what is up with Heitinga. It says he played for holland on the 9th or the 12th, whenever, but I don't understand why he isn't playing for Atleti. I am annoyed.
Camunas was a fail. Sure he got an assist, but he also picked up a yellow.
King Titi! I have to thank him for getting more puntos than Messi (with a dismal 3) even though they played the same amount of time.

An updated box
A box refers to tennis. Each player has a box where important people sit and watch them play. Well my box is all the hotties and people I want in my box so here is my updated box if you will.

1-Fabio "Il Bello/Personal Rock/ Greatest Ass in the World Serena Williams & J. Lo are Amateurs/Cannagrin" Cannavaro. As Callie so eloquently stated "Canna knows how to work it, Canna is all that is fierce." Too true!
2- Bojan "Mr. Chastity" Krkic. He may now have a back tattoo that I don't approve of, but that doesn't mean I don't still love those magical stories ;)
3- Edilson "Really NSFW/wet or not wet" Nascimento. I know he's a male model and that is supposed to be bad, but this guy is just perfect. Everything about him is amazing, thus leading him to be mine, Chocolate bear, and Vanilla bears sexy friendship rock!
4- Teddy "Stephanie and I are so totally MFEO/I really need this bev" Geiger. He is seriously my perfect guy, we are MFEO on so many different levels- We both love diet soda, we both have incredible hair, he's hot, he wears striped shirts and loves to get wet, etc.
5- Brendon "I like to be naked" Urie. He's just a cutie and his voice is amazing. He also basically plays like every instrument ever. Oh, and he's the only box member that I have met.
6- Raul "The God of Spanish Football" Gonzalez Blanco. He's just so classically handsome, plus he's a legend. Hala Raul Madrid!
7- Gael "GGB/Mexicano" Garcia Bernal. He is pretty much completely naked in every movie he does. I'm about 73% positive that if a movie doesn't include nudity, he turns it down. He's also Mexican, like 50% of me.
8- Cesc "Made of win/FB poker" Fabregas. He's just so awesome and amazing. I can't get over it.
9- Yoann "NSFW/Lashes" Gourcuff. God this man is pretty.
10- Carlos "Captain America" Bocanegra. Vanillabear calls him "generic hot" but he's hot none the less and despite his Mexican heritage, he is grade A American hottie!

I am so late on this.
We all have different music genre's that we know specifically about. It has been decided that mine is Emo. I personally call it alt-___ (punk, rock, whatever) but emo is the title I'm going to use for it even though most of the bands I'm going to discuss really hate that label.
Anyways, my specialty starts circa 2004 and goes through the present. I know there are songs you incorporate or would be more popular for these bands, but this is my blog, I am choosing the songs.
My first one kind of set off the trend:
The Killers- Somebody Told Me
Then came Fall Out Boy with Sugar, We're Going Down. I should use that song, but FOB doesn't care and neither do I so I Don't Care is going to be my song choice. This video also kind of makes me laugh.
Panic! at the Disco of course are a staple to this genre and I Write Sins Not Tragedies is a fave of theirs.

I don't know, maybe he's 18 and just going through a rebellious stage or something, but apparently Bojan now has a tattoo on his upper right back. I wasn't sure about it, so i turned to the ladies of ONTD_football for help and word is, is that it is some Indonesian tribal symbol or something. His back was fine the way it was. I have nothing against tattoos, Canna is covered in them, but I just didn't see

I am like, so deep
I am puddle deep. I was in class where a deep profound thought entered my head so I thought I would share with you all this deep profound insight.
The measure of a person's creepiness is based a lot on their looks. You are shocked, I know. It's okay. I was a bit astounded when I realized this as well. Just take a moment and let it sink it, it will all make sense in a moment.
Here is the situation; A person keeps looking at you and they are obviously looking at you. Now decide, is this person:
(a) creepy!
(b) just into you?
You can't decide right, you know why- because you don't know what they look like. If you knew what that person who kept looking at you in the above situation looked like you could quickly come to a decisive answer, but without knowing its hard to tell.
Thus my deep insight has led me to the definitive and ultimate unarguable conclusion that if you are ugly, you are just going to be a much creepier person by no fault of your own.

Let's discuss
Okay, so I a blog analysis thing and I was checking it out to find out how people find out about my blog. Ever since I got that person who came across my blog from googling "Enrique Iglesias loves nutella" I am ever so interested in finding out exactly why my blog comes up. Here, I have the most recent keyword analysis and all of them I understand except the two in red. They perplex me. 
My thoughts in order of occurance:
1-Oh my God, I hate Metze so much
2- Eww, someone found my blog when they were actually looking for him
3- Who is looking for a Puyol picspam
3- Well, whoever is, I don't know if I want them reading my blog
4- It was only a post on how bad his hair was
5- ugh

Excitement!
I live a pretty enthralling and fast paced life. I can understand how it would be hard to be able to keep up with all of my interests and likes, so I have a new blog feature that will hopefully make it easier (note my excessive use of sarcasm in those first sentences). This is going to be my weekly excitements. For now on, once a week, I will blog about the going ons of the upcoming week that I am looking forward. We shall start now with the week of February 2-8th. I haven't fully researched this week, so I only have two exciting things, but they are good.
Tomorrow, February 3, 2009, The Fray's new self titled album comes out. I have been waiting months for this so I hope it's really really good.
Friday, Madagascar 2: Escape To Africa comes out on DVD. This is majorly important because I can now watch it after my weekly viewings of Madagascar.
